Super interesting video for this Friday about all we know of this world and, more importantly, all the things we still don't know and probably will never know.
I've been during a big part of my life a very left-brained type of guy. Rational, analytic, science-is-the-Truth type. It was only a few years ago that an eye-opening session on a corporate training program (of all things) started flagging signals about two humbling facts:
- Our brains are really defective.
- We really don't know a shit about this world.
Don't get me wrong, I believe critical thinking is the way to go just as much as a hammer is the way to go if you want to strike a nail, but a broader perspective will tell you that it will only take you so far.
The big question though is: what are you going to do once you buy into the idea that we have no f#%<!ng clue, and we will never have? What will you do once you reach that chasm of ignorance?
Have a nice weekend. Cheers.
